Following the audit and the favourable opinion of the certification committee, GL Mobilier Gonesse has been awarded ISO 9001: 2008 certification, bearing witness to our success.
A NEW LOGISTICS HUB
Based in Gonesse (France), our new logistics hub (covering 25,000m²) is home to all our furniture stocks, using new storage and logistics processes, as well as our staff, with 1,500m² of office space.
This move also marked a major re-organisation of all our services and operating functions: new software for our stock management, re-organisation of our storage methods, new cleaning process, etc.
A NEW PROCESS FOR MANAGING STOCK AND OPERATIONS
In order to optimise and simplify our stock management, GL events invested in a brand new warehouse management software programme.
Specially designed for the Group, this software solution enables us to control the status of our stock in real time. The products are quickly identified, check-in, stored and prepared for delivery respecting the quality and deadlines of the orders; a sorting-check is carried out on the return of our products from fairs or events.
A NEW CLEANING METHOD
Because product quality is our priority, GL events has invested in a new furniture cleaning process.
After its return from events, all the furniture is cleaned item by item according to an established protocol. The technical quality of our machines and the expertise of our teams allow us to go further than simple cleaning; our products are genuinely sanitised. Wood, plexiglass, plastic, glass, fabric, etc; all types of surfaces and materials can be treated. The furniture retains all its authenticity, since it is handled less.
A NEW PRODUCT RANGE
Today, our product offer includes 600 references and enables us to meet a broad range of requirements. From affordable, fashionable products to exceptional items such as the Masters chair designed by Philippe Starck or the Thalya chair by Kartell, the new range reflects the highest requirements in terms of product quality.
